CALIFORNIA (Jan. 10) – The Vulcans faced a third-straight opponent that appeared in the 2025 NCAA Tournament on Saturday afternoon and suffered an 82-46 loss to No. 5 Gannon at the Convocation Center in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play.

Kennedy Bankett led the team with 20 points on 6-10 shooting and seven-of-seven from the free-throw line.

• The Golden Knights raced out to a 21-3 lead before holding a 23-9 advantage at the end of the first quarter.
• Gannon was scoreless for opening three-plus minutes of the second quarter before mounting an 18-4 run to take a 41-16 at the break.
• The Golden Knights made 8-of-11 shots from the floor in the third quarter while leading by as many as 37 points, 63-26, at the 1:26-mark.
• Bankett scored 12 of the team's 14 points in the fourth quarter.
• The Vulcans finished the game shooting 36.4 percent (16-of-44) from the field.
• Gannon held a sizeable 41-15 rebounding advantage and scored 21 second-chance points.
