CALIFORNIA (Sept. 27) – The California (PA) tennis team swept doubles play before suffering a 5-2 loss against Bloomsburg in non-conference action at Roadman Park on Saturday morning.

• The Vulcans (2-1) and Huskies met for the third-consecutive fall campaign.
• Cal captured the doubles point after sweeping the session on Saturday.

Izabelle Heacox opened play with a 6-1 victory at the third position.

Diletta Maria Mungo clinched the point with a 6-3 win at second doubles, while seniors
Teddi Isherwood and
Leandra Guldimann registered a 7-5 victory at the first slot.
• Isherwood captured the lone single victory for Cal in singles against Bloomsburg with a 6-2, 6-1 win at the first position.
