CALIFORNIA (Sept. 20) – The Vulcans trailed by a one-goal margin at halftime before being dealt a 5-0 loss by Slippery Rock in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play at the Phillipsburg Soccer Facility on Saturday afternoon.

• The California (PA) women's soccer team (0-5, 0-2) has lost the last four meetings in the series with Slippery Rock.
• The Rock took a 1-0 lead with a goal by Sophia Palermo in the 14th minute following an assist by Abby Paterline.
• Marissa Salisbury scored twice in the second half for Slippery Rock.
