GREENSBORO, N.C. (July 23) – The California (PA) baseball program garnered the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award for the fifth-consecutive season on Wednesday morning.

To be eligible for the award, teams must hold a minimum cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher on a 4.00 scale for the 2024-25 academic year. The honor is available to all NCAA, NAIA, junior college and high school baseball programs. The ABCA recognized more than 440 collegiate programs from across the country this summer.

The Vulcans were one of only three Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) teams recognized by the ABCA this season.
