ORLANDO, Fla. (March 5) – The California (PA) tennis team rallied from losing the doubles point to claim a 5-2 win against Sioux Falls (SD) on Wednesday afternoon while in Florida.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (8-1) have won six-consecutive dual matches dating back to the fall season.
• Junior
Diletta Maria Mungo and sophomore
Lilli Schreiber earned the team's lone double victory of the match with a 6-1 win at the second position.
• Cal rallied to win five of the six singles matches against USF, including four in straight sets.
• Junior
Teddi Isherwood collected a 6-0, 6-2 victory at the first position and classmate
Leandra Guldimann posted a 6-3, 6-4 win at the second slot.
• Mungo registered a 6-2, 6-0 victory at third singles and Schreiber rallied for a 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 win at the fourth position.
• Freshman
Garance Laforet remained undefeated in singles play with a 6-2, 6-0 victory at the fifth slot.
