Megan Nidoh was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.
Nidoh earned her first collegiate victory on Feb. 9, as the Vulcans earned a split of a twinbill at Concord. She allowed one run (earned) on four hits over 5.2 innings of relief (87 pitches) in an 11-9 win in Game 2 over the Mountain Lions. Nidoh forced Concord to strand the game-tying run in scoring position in the bottom of the seventh.
A 5-foot-5 left-handed pitcher, Nidoh worked 10.1 innings last season over nine relief appearances after making just one appearance as a freshman in 2023.
The Vulcans are set to return to action on Sunday, Feb. 23, with a pair of neutral-site games in Glenville, West Virginia. Cal is slated to play West Virginia State at 12:30 p.m. before facing defending-Atlantic Region Champion Charleston (WV) at 5:30 p.m.
