CLARION, Pa. (Feb. 12) – The Vulcans featured four players scoring in double-digits and set a season high in three-pointers while earning an 81-53 win at Clarion in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play on Wednesday evening.
NOTES
• California (14-10, 10-7) extended its winning streak in the series with Clarion to 26 games dating back to the 2011-12 campaign.
• The Vulcans remain fifth in the divisional standings with three games left in the regular season, maintaining a three-game lead over Clarion.

Talia Gilliard led the team with 21 points behind four-of-eight from beyond the arc.
• She also finished with five rebounds and two assists on Wednesday.

Sierra Bermudez scored 17 points on five-of-seven from three-point territory and added three rebounds and three blocks.

Alicia Young and sophomore
Nina Shaw both tallied 11 points in the win with Shaw also collecting six assists, two blocks and three steals against the Golden Eagles.

Allycia Harris registered a team-high 11 rebounds (nine offensive) and added nine points, four assists and two steals in 36 minutes.
• Sophomore
Kimaya Williams finished with five points and seven rebounds in the victory.
• The Vulcans posted an 11-2 run early in the first quarter before holding a 15-6 lead at the end of the quarter.
• Cal stretched the lead to double-digits in the opening minute of the second quarter before Clarion cut the deficit to six points twice before halftime.
• The Vulcans held a 38-27 advantage at the break after the Golden Eagles were held to nine field goals.
• Cal mounted a 15-2 rally over nearly four minutes in the third quarter before taking a 62-39 lead at the end of the quarter.
• The Vulcans maintained a lead of 20-plus points throughout the fourth quarter, leading by as many as 32 points, 78-46, at the 3:00-mark.
• Cal finished the game shooting a .435 clip (30-of-69) from the floor with a season-high 11 three-pointers on 26 attempts (42.3 percent).
• The Vulcans held a plus-19 rebounding advantage behind 20 offensive rebounds that led to 28 second-chance points.
