WILMINGTON, Del. (Nov.29) – The Vulcans made a pair of free-throws late in regulation to force overtime on Saturday afternoon before posting an 84-77 win at Wilmington (DE) in non-conference play.
NOTES
• California (2-4) earned its first overtime victory since last November at Charleston (WV).

Brayden Reynolds registered his first career double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
• He shot seven-of-seven from the floor and six-of-eight free-throw attempts in 37 minutes.

Bryson Lucas totaled 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks in the win.

Antoine Arnett posted 19 points and six rebounds, while junior
Dalman Alexander added 10 points and four rebounds.
• The Vulcans forced overtime by converting a pair of free-throws with five seconds left in regulation.
• With two minutes remaining in overtime, Cal closed the game on an 8-1 run with Reynolds scoring all eight points behind four-of-four from the charity stripe.
• The Vulcans held a five-point lead midway through the first half before the Wildcats scored 11-unasnwered points to claim a 31-25 lead with 3:16 remaining.
• Cal cut the deficit to 35-33 at the break following a half that featured five lead changes.
• The Wildcats used a 10-2 rally midway in the second half to build a 55-46 advantage with 10:09 left in regulation.
• Cal later responded with a 14-5 run over four minutes to trim the deficit to a 66-65 margin at the 1:33-mark.
• The Vulcans finished the game shooting at a 48.4 clip (30-of-62) and converted 18-of-24 (75.0 percent) from the free-throw line.
• Cal held a 46-36 rebounding advantage and scored 44 points in the paint.
