Women's Soccer plays to scoreless tie at UPJ

Bishop records five saves in first career shutout; Vulcans, Mountain Cats combine for 30 shots

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (Oct. 8) – In its first road game in two weeks, the California (PA) women's soccer team played to a 0-0 scoreless tie at Pitt-Johnstown in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action on Wednesday afternoon.

NOTES
• The Vulcans (0-8-2, 0-5-2) have played to a tie in each of their last two road games.
• Cal has played at least one 0-0 tie in each of the last five seasons.
• The teams were credited with a combined 30 shot attempts, including 12 shots on goal.
• Freshman Autumn Bishop recorded her first career shutout after posting five saves on Wednesday.
• UPJ finished the game with a 19-11 shot advantage and tallied an 8-1 edge in corner kicks.
