SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. (Oct. 11) – Facing the top team in the divisional standings, the Vulcans fell by a 1-0 count at Slippery Rock on Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play.
NOTES
• The California (PA) women's soccer team (0-9-2, 0-6-2) has suffered seven losses this season by a 1-0 score.
• The Rock scored the lone goal of the contest at the 38:38-mark on a tally by Libby Zacharyasz.
• Freshman
Autumn Bishop registered nine saves, her second-highest total of the year, in the road contest.
• Slippery Rock attempted 20 shots in the victory and totaled 12 corner kicks on Saturday.
