CALIFORNIA (Oct. 8) – Following a scoreless first half, the Vulcans suffered a 2-1 loss against Seton Hill on Wednesday evening in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action at the Phillipsburg Soccer Facility.
NOTES
• The California (PA) men's soccer team (2-6-1, 0-3) suffered its fourth-consecutive loss on Wednesday.
• The Griffins have won eight of the last nine meetings against the Vulcans, including five straight on the road.
• Seton Hill tallied three shots in a three-minute span in the opening minutes before hitting the post in the 19th minute.
• The Griffins broke the scoreless tie in the 70th minute with a goal by Dylan Giffin following an assist by Julian Marker.
• Seton Hill added to the lead nearly 10 minutes later at the 79:41-mark with Marker again tallying an assist.
• Cal trimmed the deficit to a 2-1 margin in the 87th minute sophomore
