SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. (Oct. 11) – The California (PA) men's soccer team was unable to overcome a pair of early goals while dropping a 3-0 contest at Slippery Rock in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play on Saturday afternoon.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (2-7-1, 0-4) has lost five-consecutive games dating back to a tie on Sept. 24.
• Slippery Rock raced out to an early lead in the eighth minute on a goal by Gabin Lonjard.
• The Rock added to the lead at the 13:15-mark on another tally by Lonjard.
• Midway through the second half, Slippery Rock stretched the lead to a 3-0 margin in the 70th minute.

AJ Visco registered four saves while playing all 90 minutes on Saturday.
• The Rock finished the game with a 19-10 shot advantage after the teams were credited with a combined 20 shots in the second half.
• Cal and Slippery Rock each attempted five corner kicks in the contest.
