CALIFORNIA (Oct. 4) – Playing their third-straight home game, the Vulcans suffered a 1-0 loss against Clarion on Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play at the Phillipsburg Soccer Facility.

• The California (PA) women's soccer team (0-8-1, 0-5-1) has lost three-straight games, including a pair by one goal.
• The Vulcans and Golden Eagles played to scoreless first half after both teams attempted a pair of shots.
• Clarion scored the lone goal of the contest in the 56th minute.
• The Vulcans later placed three shots on goal within a nine-minute span.
• The Golden Eagles finished the game with a 9-5 shot advantage and held a 7-4 edge in corner kicks.
