EDINBORO, Pa. (Oct. 18) – Playing their second road match in as many days, the Vulcans suffered a 3-1 loss (25-17, 25-17, 22-25, 25-18) at Edinboro on Saturday evening in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action.

• California (15-6, 2-4) has lost four of its last six matches, with all four losses coming on the road.

Elisa Rugiero led the team with nine kills on 22 attempts for a .273 hitting percentage.

• In the first set, Edinboro raced out to an 11-2 lead and hit at a blistering .457 clip in the 25-17 victory.
• The Fighting Scots closed the second set on an 8-3 run to earn a 25-17 win.
• Cal tallied 15 kills and committed only three attack errors in the third set while posting a 25-22 victory.
• The Fighting Scots led wire-to-wire in the fourth set and registered 20 kills in the 25-18 win.
