CAMDEN, N.J. (Sept. 10) – Seven different players tallied a win on Friday afternoon, as the Vulcans opened their weekend road trip with a 5-2 victory at Rutgers-Camden (N.J.) – a NCAA Division III program.
NOTES
• The California (PA) tennis team (3-1) was playing its first dual match since Sept. 27.
• The Vulcans swept the doubles session while in New Jersey to earn the doubles point.

Gianna Bloom and senior
Leandra Guldimann opened play on Friday with a 6-1 victory at the third position.
• Senior
Diletta Maria Mungo and sophomore
Garance Laforet tallied a 6-2 win at the first slot, while junior
Lilli Schreiber and sophomore
Izabelle Heacox claimed a 6-3 victory at second doubles.
• Cal won four of the six singles matches to secure the match victory.
• Mungo opened the session with a 6-2, 6-0 victory at the first position and Schreiber followed with a 6-1, 6-0 win at the third slot.
• Laforet clinched the win on Friday with a 6-4, 6-1 victory at second singles and junior
Peyton Reese added a 7-5, 6-1 win at fifth singles.
