CALIFORNIA (Oct. 1) – Facing the top-scoring offense in the league, the California (PA) women's soccer team fell by a 4-0 count to IUP on Wednesday evening in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (0-7-1, 0-4-1) have been shutout in their last four home meetings against the Crimson Hawks - posting a 0-2-2 mark in those games.
• IUP took a 1-0 lead in the 18th minute when Ellie Smith registered her PSAC-leading 11th goal of the year.
• The Crimson Hawks added to the lead at the 52:08-mark and later scored twice within the final 17 minutes of the contest.
• IUP finished with a 13-3 shot advantage after attempting nine shots in the second half.
• The Crimson Hawks also held a 5-3 edge in corner kicks in the victory.

Autumn Bishop totaled six saves on Wednesday, marking her third game this fall with at least five saves.
