LOCK HAVEN, Pa. (Sept. 5) – The California (PA) women's soccer team scored in the later portion of the first half on Thursday afternoon while posting a 1-1 tie at Lock Haven in non-conference action to open the year.

• The Vulcans (0-0-1) played the Bald Eagles in their season-opener for the fourth-straight fall.
• Lock Haven claimed a 1-0 lead in the 18th minute on a successful one-on-one opportunity.
