CALIFORNIA (Sept. 28) – The California (PA) men's soccer team scored with 20 seconds remaining on Saturday afternoon to earn a 1-1 tie with West Chester in non-conference action at the Phillipsburg Soccer Facility.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (2-3-2) snapped a seven-game losing streak in the series with the Golden Rams dating back to the 2011 season.
• West Chester took a 1-0 lead in the fifth minute of the game and nearly added to the lead in the 63rd minute before an attempt deflected off the crossbar.
• Cal tied the score at the 89:40-mark when freshman
Max Llado scored on a header with an assist to junior
Brady Olsen.
• Sophomore
Kiernan Webb finished with three saves while facing eight attempts.
