CALIFORNIA (Sept. 26) – The California (PA) volleyball team suffered a 3-1 loss (21-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-22) against Walsh (Ohio) on Thursday evening at the Convocation Center in non-conference action.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (3-7) played their final non-conference match of the season while face a Cavalier program that won 25 matches last fall.
• Senior
Allie Droneberger tallied a kill/dig double-double for a consecutive match after finishing with a team-leading 10 kills and a season-high 19 digs.
• Freshman
Anna-Marie Petricevic added nine kills, while junior
Elisa Rugiero posted seven kills.
• Freshman
Morgan Johnson matched her season high with 20 assists on Thursday.
• Sophomore
Kay Lindenfelser paced the team and set a career high with 20 digs, while junior
Caroline Mercer finished with 18 digs against the Cavaliers.
• Senior
Sophia Johnson recorded five blocks in the losing effort.
