FAIRMONT, W.Va. (Sept. 17) – Playing its fourth match in five days, the California (PA) volleyball team dropped a 3-0 contest (25-8, 25-17, 25-15) at Fairmont State in non-conference action on Tuesday evening.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (3-5) were playing a third-straight Mountain East Conference (MEC) program.
• Cal was held to a season-low 20 kills with senior
Sophia Johnson and junior
Elisa Rugiero tying for the team lead with five kills.

Adrianna Favata finished with eight and seven assists, respectively.
