CALIFORNIA (Sept. 14) – The Vulcans suffered a 3-0 loss (25-20, 25-23, 25-17) to Frostburg State on Saturday afternoon at the Convocation Center while closing out the annual Vulcan Invitational.

• California (3-4) hosted six matches this weekend while making its home debut at the Convocation Center.
• Senior
Sophia Johnson led the team with eight kills on a .467 hitting percentage and collected five blocks.
• Freshman
Lexi Muck added five kills, while seniors
Allie Droneberger and
Natalie Beer both finished with four kills.
• Junior
Adrianna Favata guided the offense with 17 assists and two service aces.
• Junior transfer
Caroline Mercer paced the team with 13 digs and Favata added 12 digs for her second assist/dig double-double this fall.
