CALIFORNIA (Sept. 10) – The California (PA) men's soccer team scored in the early minutes on Tuesday afternoon while claiming a 1-0 victory against D'Youville (N.Y). at the Phillipsburg Soccer Facility in non-conference action.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (1-0-1) opened the year with back-to-back home games and earned a shutout for first time since 2022 campaign.
• Cal scored the game's lone goal at the 10:31-mark when senior
Corey McKoy tallied a goal following a pass from freshman
Jaime Marcelo Espinosa.
• McKoy registered his first career game-winning goal on Tuesday after tallying a pair of goals last fall.

Kiernan Webb tallied five saves while posting his first career shutout in his second start.
• The teams were issued five yellow cards in the second half and combined for nearly 20 fouls after the break.
