SALEM, W.Va. (April 15) – The California (PA) tennis team collected a second road win in as many days with a 4-1 weather-shortened victory over Salem on Monday afternoon in non-conference action.
SCHEDULE/RESULTS
• The Vulcans improve to 8-10 overall behind a 3-0 mark on the road.
• The Tigers falls to 5-9 this season while facing a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) team for the fifth time this year.
• Cal and Salem have played in three-straight seasons with the Vulcans winning twice.
MATCH NOTES
• Cal claimed the doubles point after winning two of the matches in the session.

Leandra Guldimann and junior
Maria Del Mar Ojeda earned their eighth doubles win of the year with a 6-4 victory at the first position.
• The Vulcans won by default at the sixth position and sealed the match win with a pair of victories in singles play before inclement weather forced the conclusion of play.
• Guldimann posted a 6-3, 6-1 win at the second position and senior
Carmen Duran recorded a 6-0, 6-0 victory at the fifth slot.
