CLARION, Pa. (April 18) – The California (PA) tennis team extended its winning streak to three matches after cruising to a 7-0 victory at Clarion on Thursday evening in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action.
RECORDS/SERIES
• The Vulcans improve to 9-10 this season with a 2-1 mark in divisional play.
• The Golden Eagles fall to 1-10 overall behind a 0-4 record in league action.
• Cal has won the last five matches in the series after losing an indoor match during the spring of 2018.
MATCH NOTES
• Cal won all nine matches in the contest for the second time in five days.
• The Vulcans captured the doubles point after winning all three matches by a 6-0 margin.

Maria Del Mar Ojeda won their team-leading ninth doubles match, all at the first position.
• Cal earned straight-set victories in all six matches on Thursday.

Carmen Duran won her third-straight match to improve her team-leading singles total to 13 victories.

Diletta Maria Mungo collected her 10th victory in singles action this year, all at the first slot.
