BUCKHANNON, W.Va. (March 17) – In its second match in as many days, the California (PA) tennis team dropped a 6-1 in-region contest versus Davis & Elkins on Sunday afternoon.
SCHEDULE/SERIES
• The Vulcans fall to 6-8 overall after playing their seventh match in the last two weeks.
• The Senators improve to 2-4 this season after facing their second Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) opponent of the spring.
• Cal and D&E met for the fifth time since March 2016 with the Senators winning the last two matches in West Virginia.
MATCH NOTES
• The Senators secured the doubles point with wins at the first and second positions; the match at third doubles was left unfinished.
• D&E claimed the match win with five victories in singles play, including a pair of matches that went beyond two sets.

Carmen Duran collected the lone win for the Vulcans on Sunday, posting a 7-5, 7-5 victory at the sixth slot.
