CALIFORNIA (March 16) – Playing their first home match of the spring, the Vulcans earned a 6-1 win over Allegheny (Pa.) in non-conference action on Saturday morning at Roadman Park.
RECORDS/SERIES
• The California (PA) tennis team improves to 5-8 this season with three wins this spring.
• The Gators, which are a NCAA Division III program, fall to 10-8 overall after advancing to the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship in the fall campaign.
• The Vulcans and Gators were meeting for the first time since the 2004-05 season.

• The Vulcans secured the doubles point after winning a pair of matches in the session.

Leandra Guldimann posted a 6-2 victory at the first position, while senior

Lilli Schreiber earned a 6-4 win at the third slot.
• Cal collected five wins in singles play on Saturday, including two via tiebreakers.

Diletta Maria Mungo tallied a 6-2, 3-6, 1-0 (10-8) win at the first position and Schreiber registered a 6-0, 6-4 victory at second singles.
• The Vulcans swept the bottom half of the singles lineup against the Gators with Del Mar Ojeda, freshman
Bega Gotor and Duran all claiming wins.
