CALIFORNIA (Feb. 14) – The California (PA) women's basketball team featured five players scoring in double-digits on Wednesday evening at the Convocation Center while earning an 84-53 win against Clarion in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play.
RECORDS/SERIES
• The Vulcans improve to 17-7 this season behind a 12-6 record in conference action.
• The Golden Eagles remain winless this year and fall to 0-24 overall with a 0-18 mark in league play.
• Cal also extended its winning streak in the series with Clarion to 24 games, dating back to January 2012.

Sierra Bermudez led the team with 16 points on five-of-nine shooting, including three-of-six from long range.
• She also added four rebounds (three offensive) and two assists in 20 minutes off the bench.
• Fellow junior
Iyahnna Williams tallied 15 points, six rebounds, six assists and two steals in 27 minutes on Wednesday.
• Classmate
Allycia Harris finished with 10 points, six rebounds and two steals against Clarion.
• Sophomore
Alicia Young collected 13 points and six rebounds (four offensive) in the win.
• Redshirt senior
Dejah Terrell recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds, plus added two blocks in 22 minutes of action.
GAME ACTION
• Cal started the game on a 7-0 run after Clarion missed its opening four shots of the game.
• The Golden Eagles cut the deficit to three points, 10-7, at the 2:22-mark of the first quarter.
• The Vulcans responded with 10-unanswered points to close the quarter with a 20-7 lead.
• Cal added seven-straight points midway through the second quarter to extend the lead to 29-12 with 4:546 left.
• The Golden Eagles countered with a 10-2 run to trim the deficit to 31-22 with 1:19 remaining before the break.
• The Vulcans snapped a span of 3:42 without a field goal before taking a 34-23 lead at halftime.
• Cal opened the third quarter on an 11-2 rally to lead by a 45-25 margin at the 5:01-mark.
• The Vulcans later mounted a 15-2 run in the third quarter and closed the quarter with a 62-35 lead.
• Cal shot an impressive 11-of-16 (68.8 percent) from the field in the third quarter while out-scoring Clarion by a 28-12 margin.
• The Vulcans led by at least 20 points throughout the entire fourth quarter, closing the game on an 10-2 run over the final 3:28.
• Cal finished the game shooting 44.9 percent (31-of-69) from the field in the victory.
• The Vulcans set a season high 53 rebounds and finished with a plus-24 rebounding advantage.
• Cal scored 24 second-chance points and its bench accounted for over 40 points.
• Clarion freshman Autumn Taylor scored a team-leading 18 points behind three-of-five from beyond the arc.
