NOTES
• California (PA) (4-5, 1-2) has lost back-to-back games and four of its last five contests.
• Sophomore
Alivia Huffman registered her first career double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds (nine offensive), both career highs.
• She played a career-high 29 minutes while making her third career start on Friday.
• Freshman
Trinity Balog tied Huffman for the team lead with a season-high 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting.
• She also tallied three rebounds, four assists and two steals in a season-high 30 minutes off the bench.
• Senior
Talia Gilliard posted 10 points, seven rebounds, three assists and four steals against the Golden Rams.
• Junior
Alicia Young finished with 14 points and three rebounds, while sophomore
Kimaya Williams tallied eight rebounds (three offensive) and two blocks in the loss.
• The teams were tied at 11-11 at the end of the first quarter after combining to shoot just 9-of-31 from the floor (29.0 percent).
• The Golden Rams then scored 22 points in the second quarter and took a 33-25 lead at halftime.
• Cal shot at a 55.0 clip (11-of-20) in the third quarter and posted 26 points to tie the game at 51-51 entering the final 10 minutes.
• The teams combined for four lead changes in the fourth quarter with West Chester seizing control of the game behind a 14-2 run over a five-minute span to take a 73-60 lead with 1:25 remaining.
• The Vulcans finished the game shooting 36.9 percent (24-of-65) from the floor while going just 4-of-20 (20.0 percent) from long range.
• West Chester scored 46 points from inside the paint, while Cal collected 18 second-chance points.
