CALIFORNIA (Nov. 22) – The California (PA) women's basketball team held a three-point lead with 30 seconds left in regulation before suffering a 68-57 overtime loss against Millersville in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Crossover action at the Convocation Center on Friday afternoon.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (3-3, 0-1) dropped their first overtime contest since Dec. 3, 2021 after previously winning six-straight overtime games.
• Junior
Alicia Young scored a game-high 22 points on 9-of-28 shooting – the most field-goal attempts in a game since the 2018-19 season-opener

Kimaya Williams collected six rebounds, three assists, four blocks and three steals while playing 39 minutes off the bench.
• Senior
Allycia Harris finished with seven points and 10 rebounds (seven offensive) on Friday.
• Classmate
Talia Gilliard tallied eight points, five rebounds and three assists in her first career start.
• Cal held a 49-43 lead with 4:49 left in regulation before Millersville cut the deficit to a single point, 51-50, at the 2:05-mark.
• Gilliard made a jumper with 41 seconds remaining to give the Vulcans a 53-50 lead before the Marauders forced overtime with a three-pointer on the next possession.
• Cal shot just one-of-nine from the floor in overtime, as Millersville out-scored the Vulcans by a 15-4 margin in the extra five minutes.
• The Vulcans finished the game with a .258 field-goal percentage (23-of-89) – their lowest mark since the 2022 NCAA Tournament.
• Cal held a 54-43 rebounding advantage in the contest behind 31 offensive rebounds.
