SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. (Nov. 2) – The Vulcans suffered a 4-1 loss at Slippery Rock in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play on Saturday afternoon.
NOTES
• California (4-8-4, 1-6-2) closed the fall with a 2-6 mark on the road.
• The Rock scored the opening goal at the 24:56-mark after previously recording a pair of corner kicks in the 25th minute.
• Slippery Rock stretched the lead to a 2-0 margin just before halftime with a goal at the 41:15-mark.
• The Rock tallied a goal in the 66th minute before the Vulcans cut the deficit to 3-1 at the 78:11-mark.

Cooper Robson posted his first career goal on a header with assists from freshman

• Slippery Rock answered just over four minutes later with the final goal of the game.

Kiernan Webb collected two saves in the losing effort.
• The Rock out-shot the Vulcans by a 16-4 margin and finished with a 7-3 advantage in corner kicks.
