SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. (Oct. 5) – The Vulcans surrendered an 'own goal' on Saturday afternoon while dropping a 1-0 contest at Slippery Rock in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play.

• California (3-5-2, 2-4-1) has lost all five games this season by a single goal.
• The Rock was credited with the only goal of the contest at the 18:09-mark on an 'own goal' following a corner kick.

Emily Ouimet finished with four saves while facing a season-high 17 shots.
• Slippery Rock finished with a 17-3 shot advantage, including 12 attempts in the second half.
• The Rock also posted an 8-2 edge in corner kicks on Saturday.
