CALIFORNIA (Oct. 5) – The Vulcans dropped a 3-1 contest (25-23, 25-17, 23-25, 25-22) against Slippery Rock at the Convocation Center in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play on Saturday afternoon.

NOTES
• California (3-10, 0-4) is in the middle of six-match homestand that spans 16 days.
• Freshman Anna-Marie Petricevic and senior Allie Droneberger tied for the team lead with 12 kills.
• Droneberger collected her fourth kill/dig double-double of the season after totaling 11 digs on Saturday.
• Junior Adrianna Favata and freshman Morgan Johnson directed the offense with 21 and 16 assists, respectively.
• Johnson also registered her first career assist/dig double-double, adding a season-high 10 digs and two service aces.
• Junior Caroline Mercer led five players with double-digit digs against The Rock with 17.
• Sophomore Kay Lindenfelser and junior Tayla Pascoe totaled 16 and 14 digs, respectively, in the loss.
• Freshman Lexi Muck and junior Elisa Rugiero tied for the team lead with four blocks on Saturday.
• Cal registered double-digit blocks for the fourth time this season.
