CALIFORNIA (Oct. 5) – The California (PA) men's soccer team scored a pair of game-tying goals on Saturday afternoon while playing to a 2-2 tie against Slippery Rock in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action at the Phillipsburg Soccer Facility.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (2-4-3, 0-2-1) scored multiple goals for the second time this season, both at home.
• Slippery Rock took a 1-0 lead in the fourth minute on the initial shot attempt of the game.
• Cal countered at the 5:50-mark when freshman
Max Llado scored his second goal of the fall.
• The Rock broke the tie early in the second half with an unassisted goal in the 51st minute.
• The Vulcans then tied the score at 2-2 with a goal by junior
Brady Olsen following a pass from senior
Cullin Woytovich at the 57:05-mark.

Kiernan Webb made one save while facing eight shot attempts.
• The Rock finished with an 8-5 advantage in shots and an 8-3 edge in corner kicks.
