WINDBER, Pa. (Oct. 30) – Led by pair of goals from senior
Cullin Woytovich, the California (PA) men's soccer team earned a 2-1 victory at Pitt-Johnstown on Wednesday afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (4-7-4, 1-5-2) registered their first victory in the series with the Mountain Cats since 2022.
• Woytovich is the first Cal player to tally multiple goals in a game since Sept. 20, 2023.
• UPJ claimed the early advantage with a goal at the 14:18-mark.
• Cal responded less than three minutes later when Woytovich registered his first goal of the season in the 17th minute with assists from junior
Brady Olsen and freshman
Max Llado.
• Woytovich tallied the game-winning goal at the 25:36-mark following a feed from senior
Shiko Ichimiya.
• Sophomore
Kiernan Webb earned the victory while making three saves in his first appearance in two weeks.
• The Vulcans finished the game with a 15-12 shot advantage and posted an 8-2 edge in corner kicks.
