SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. (Oct. 12) – The California (PA) men's soccer team posted its second shutout of the season on Saturday afternoon while earning a 1-0 win at Shippensburg in non-conference action.
NOTES
• The Vulcans (3-4-4) posted their first win since Sept. 21 after posting a 0-2-3 mark over the last three weeks.
• The game was scoreless through the first half with Shippensburg attempting all five shots in the opening 45 minutes.
• Cal tallied the lone goal of the contest at the 53:10-mark when sophomore
Jacob Gretz scored with an assist from senior

Kiernan Webb registered his second career shutout by making three saves on Saturday.
• The Vulcans held a 12-8 shot advantage with all 12 attempts being in the second half.
