EDINBORO, Pa. (Sept. 23) – The California (PA) football team rallied off 31-unasnwered points on Saturday afternoon to cruise to a 31-10 victory at Edinboro in the opening week of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play.
RECORDS/SERIES
• The Vulcans improve to 2-1 this year and open league action with a victory for the 18th-straight time.
• The Fighting Scots fall to 1-3 overall after posting a win last week at Bloomsburg.
• Cal extended its winning streak in the series with Edinboro to 17 games, including nine-straight wins at Sox Harrison Stadium.
GAME ACTION
• The Fighting Scots scored the lone points of the first quarter on a 28-yard field goal at the 8:29-mark.
• Cal claimed the lead with 8:02 remaining in the second quarter on a five-yard touchdown pass from junior quarterback

• Hopkins finished with a season-high 121 receiving yards and one touchdown on six catches.
• Willis made six receptions for the third-straight game, totaling 83 yards with one score.
• Black posted 224 passing yards on 15-of-26 attempts with two touchdowns and one interception.
• The Vulcans limited the Fighting Scots to only 216 yards of total offense.
