CALIFORNIA (Sept. 30) – The Vulcans scored 27-straight points and surrendered less than 50 yards in the second half while earning a 37-7 win over Clarion at Adamson Stadium in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action on Saturday afternoon.
RECORDS/SERIES
• The California (PA) football team improves to 3-1 overall behind a 2-0 mark in divisional play.
• The Golden Eagles drop to 1-4 this season after losing its fourth-consecutive game, including back-to-back contests in PSAC West action.
• The Vulcans extended their winning streak in the series with the Golden Eagles to 16 games with the last Clarion win occurring in the 2004 campaign.

• Black finished with 287 passing yards and three touchdowns on 23-of-32 attempts with no interceptions.
• Willis set a career high with eight receptions for 120 yards and one touchdown.
• Martin finished with 58 receiving yards and one score on three catches.
• McKan totaled 65 rushing yards on 14 attempts with one touchdown and freshman
Bobbie Boyd, Jr. added 50 rushing yards on 11 carries.
