CALIFORNIA (Dec. 19) – The No. 13 Vulcans featured six players scoring in double-digits on Tuesday night while posting a 93-71 victory against Lock Haven at the Convocation Center in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Crossover play.
RECORDS/SERIES
• The California (PA) men's basketball team improves to 10-0 overall, matching its best start since the 2003-04 campaign.
• The Vulcans also improve to 4-0 in league action – all against teams that appeared in the 2023 PSAC Tournament.
• The Bald Eagles fall to 4-5 this season with a 2-2 mark in conference play.
• Cal has won 13 of the last 14 meetings in the series with Lock Haven dating back to the 2009-10 season.

GAME ACTION
• The Vulcans raced out to a 15-2 lead in the opening five minutes of the game.
• Cal led be as many as 15 points in the first half before Lock Haven scored seven-straight points to cut the deficit to 35-27 at the 5:06-mark.
• The Vulcans later took a 46-40 lead at the break after the Bald Eagles scored the final seven points of the first half.
• Cal worked the lead back to 11 points early in the second half before Lock Haven cut the deficit to seven points, 67-60, with 10:30 remaining.
• The Vulcans mounted a 14-3 run over five minutes to seize an 88-68 lead with 3:51 left to play.
• Cal took its largest lead of the game in the final seconds at 22 points, 93-71.
• The Vulcans finished with their second-best field-goal percentage of the year at a 56.7 clip (34-of-60) in the win.
• Cal collected 16 assists while committing only nine turnovers on Tuesday.
• The Bald Eagles were limited to just 2-of-19 (10.5 percent) from beyond the arc.
• Lock Haven sophomore Justice Shoats scored a game-high 21 points and added three rebounds and three assists.
