CALIFORNIA (Nov. 20) – Led by one of their best shooting performance in recent years, the Vulcans captured an 82-68 win over Lincoln (PA) on Monday evening in non-conference play at the Convocation Center.

• The Vulcans seized control of the game midway through the first quarter with a 20-5 run over six minutes.
• Cal made eight-of-10 attempts from the floor during the rally to seize a 24-10 lead with 40 seconds left in the quarter.
• The Lions worked the deficit to single digits midway through the second quarter before the Vulcans six-straight points to take a 39-24 lead at the 4:36-mark.
• Cal took a 47-33 lead at the break after shooting 19-of-29 (65.5 percent) from the field in the first half.
• The Vulcans made five-straight shots late in the third quarter to mount a 13-4 run to extend their lead to 69-43 with 2:05 left.
• The Lions managed to work the deficit to as few as 14 points, 82-68, in the final seconds of the contest.
• Cal finished the game shooting at a 59.3 clip (32-of-54) from the floor, including 50.0 percent (10-of-20) from three-point territory.
• The teams combined for 46 turnovers and 45 fouls, including five technicals.
• Lincoln junior Ciani Montgomery led the team with 16 points on 7-of-15 shooting.
