CALIFORNIA (Nov. 16) – The California (PA) women's basketball team allowed just 11 points in the first half on Thursday evening while posting a 58-37 victory against Davis & Elkins at the Convocation Center in non-conference action.

• The Vulcans improve to 3-0 this season with all three wins being against MEC programs.
• The Senators fall to 0-2 overall after being picked 10th in the preseason MEC poll.

Allycia Harris posted a second-straight double-double, finishing with 14 points and 10 rebounds (five offensive).
• She also added two assists and two steals while playing only 23 minutes.

Iyahnna Williams added nine points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals off the bench.

Alicia Young finished with nine points, five rebounds (four offensive) and two steals on Thursday.

GAME ACTION
• Cal raced out to an 18-2 lead at the 1:41-mark in the first quarter with six different players accounting for points.
• The Senators made just one field goal over a 10-minute span stretching the first and second quarters.
• Cal extended the lead to 30-9 with 1:38 left before halftime before taking a 32-18 lead into the break.
• The Vulcans scored 12-unasnwered points, including seven points by Williams, in the later portion of the third quarter to build a 47-18 at the 2:04-mark.
• Cal maintained a 20-plus point lead throughout the fourth quarter, holding a 57-32 lead with 2:06 remaining.
• The Vulcans held the Senators to a .226 field-goal percentage (12-of-53) and forced 27 turnovers in the victory.
• D&E junior Kaylee Milburn posted a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds (four offensive).
