BLOOMSBURG, Pa. (Sept. 26) – The No. 24 Vulcans earned one point in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) standings on Saturday afternoon with a 0-0 double-overtime tie at Bloomsburg.
With the tie, the California University of Pennsylvania women's soccer team moves to 4-2-2 overall with the same record in conference play. Meanwhile, the Huskies stand at 4-3-1 this season with a 3-2-1 record in league action.
The first half ended with only six combined shots on target and one corner kick, which was takenby the Vulcans during the 12th minute. In the second half, Bloomsburg posted six shots with four on net and totaled three corner kicks. Cal U was held without a shot during the two overtime periods, while Bloomsburg posted three shots with only one on target leading to the scoreless draw.

Meghan Jayes (New Albany, Ohio/New Albany) matched her career with eight saves in the tie, which marked her 15th career shutout.
Bloomsburg held a 14-6 shot advantage, including nine on net, while both teams registered three corner kicks.
Cal U returns to action at the Phillipsburg Soccer Facility on Tuesday, Sept. 29, against West Virginia Wesleyan at 7 p.m.
