MILLERSVILLE, Pa. (Oct. 10) – Facing one of the few undefeated teams remaining in the country, the Vulcans suffered a 2-0 loss at No. 9 Millersville in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action on Saturday evening.
With the loss, the California University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team falls to 6-5 overall behind a 3-3 record in league play. Meanwhile, the Marauders remain unbeaten with an 11-0-1 record this season with an 8-0 mark in conference action.
Millersville took a 1-0 lead in the 19th minute when Jaime Vazquez scored his league-leading 14th goal of the season on a penalty kick. The Marauders added an insurance goal shortly after halftime when Jaxon Burns scored his third goal of the year at the 47:49-mark with assists from Justin Torres-Groover and Vazquez.

Lucas Exner (Horstmar, Germany/Pascal-Gymnasium) tallied seven saves while playing all 90 minutes in the losing effort.
The Marauders finished with 17-13 shot advantage and held a 5-4 edge in corner kicks while posting their fifth-straight shutout.
Cal U continues league play on Tuesday, Oct. 13, when it travels to face Mercyhurst in Erie, Pennsylvania, at 1 p.m.
