WEST CHESTER, Pa. (Oct. 31) – Despite a goal from senior
Jeffrey Kyei (Tübingen, Germany/SIT Tübingen) with two seconds remaining in regulation, the California University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team suffered a 3-2 double-overtime loss at West Chester in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action on Friday afternoon.
With the loss, the Vulcans fall to 5-10-1 overall and 4-6-0 in conference play with one game left in the season. Meanwhile, West Chester moves to 9-6 this season behind a 7-3 mark in league action.

Kevin Helbig (Carnegie, Pa./Chartiers Valley) tied the score at 1-1 in the 50th minute with his first goal of the season off an assist from freshman
Djordje Babic (Datteln, Germany/Comenius Gymnasium). The Golden Rams scored a go-ahead goal at the 89:21-mark before Kyei forced overtime 47 seconds later with his team-leading sixth goal of the season, and 22nd of his career. West Chester scored the game-winning goal 44 seconds into the second overtime, as Brett Glasco scored off a corner kick at the 100:44-mark.

Shane Donovan (Pipersville, Pa./Central Bucks East) made five saves while suffering the loss. West Chester Matt Palmer stopped three shots in the double-overtime win on Friday.
The Vulcans out-shot the Golden Rams by a 15-12 margi,n while West Chester held a slim 4-3 edge in corner kicks.
Cal U concludes the season tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 1, when it travels to East Stroudsburg at 3:30 p.m.
