CALIFORNIA (Oct. 17) – Behind a pair of second-half goals from senior
Jeffrey Kyei (Tübingen, Germany/SIT Tübingen), the California University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team earned a 2-0 win over Lock Haven in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action Friday afternoon at the Phillipsburg Soccer Facility.
With the victory, the Vulcans improve to 3-4-1 overall and 3-3 in league play. Meanwhile, the Bald Eagles fall to 5-6-1 this season behind a 4-2 mark in conference action.

Cory Kuzilla (Harborcreek, Pa./Harbor Creek). Kyei then added an insurance goal (unassisted) at the 88:43-mark while racing past the defender.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Shane Donovan (Pipersville, Pa./Central Bucks East) made two saves while earning his fifth career shutout. Lock Haven goalkeeper Jonathan Howitt suffered the loss after totaling one save.
The Vulcans out-shot the Bald Eagles by a 14-7 margin and also took the only two corner kicks of the game.
Cal U returns to action tomorrow, Oct. 18, when it hosts Bloomsburg in PSAC play at 4 p.m.
