CALIFORNIA (Aug. 6) – Beginning with the start of the 2010 season, California University of Pennsylvania football fans can now enjoy the games at Adamson Stadium in the “Midfield Club Seating” sections, which feature chairback seats.

Traditionally, all fans watched the Vulcan action from similar seats regardless of yard line. This year, the two midfield sections – C and D – now feature chairback seats spanning between the two 30-yard lines.

Fans can purchase seats for all five home football games with the cost per seat being $100. Each game will feature a different commemorative ticket with various Cal U standouts on the ticket. All proceeds of ticket sales will benefit the general Cal U athletic scholarship fund.

Individuals who purchase seats in the midfield club seating will have the opportunity to actually choose their exact location in relation to the field, as Cal U is hosting a pair of “Select-a-Seat Days.”

The first “Select-a-Seat Day” is Saturday, Aug. 21 from 12 – 3 p.m., while the second day is Saturday, Aug. 28 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Anyone who has purchased a seat and doesn't attend either day will be assigned their seat for the 2010 season.

In addition to the guaranteed five home games, fans that purchase midfield club seating have the right of first refusal to purchase their seats for any NCAA post-season games hosted at Adamson Stadium.
