PITTSBURG, Kansas (Feb. 9) – Six California University of Pennsylvania football standouts received All-America honors from Don Hansen's Football Gazette on Monday. The Vulcans featured three second-team selections, one third-team honoree and two honorable mention players.

Senior wide receiver AJ Jackson (Lehigh Acres, Fla./Lehigh/Sequoias), senior cornerback Terrence Johnson (Braddock, Pa./Woodland Hills) and senior defensive lineman Willie Walker (Aliquippa, Pa./Aliquippa) were each named Second-Team All-Americans, while junior offensive lineman Dan Jordan (Tionesta, Pa./Redbank Valley) received third-team laurels. Graduate student linebacker Dontey Brown (McKeesport, Pa./McKeesport/Penn State) and graduate student offensive lineman Cha'Mar Jones (Aliquippa, Pa./Aliquippa) received All-America honorable mention from the Football Gazette.

Jackson rewrote the record books this season, finishing with school records and ranking among the national leaders with 101 receptions, 1,424 receiving yards and 18 receiving touchdowns. The 6-6 wide receiver finished his career as the program's all-time leader with 28 receiving touchdowns. He also has been recognized as an All-American by the Associated Press (AP) and D2Football.com.

Terrence Johnson, who was a Football Gazette Third-Team All-American last year, tied for the team-lead with three interceptions (all in the post-season) and set a career high with 56 tackles (39 solo) this season. A three-time All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West First-Team selection, he finished his career with 16 interceptions.

A two-time national finalist for the Gene Upshaw Award, Walker posted 42 tackles (24 solo) with 9.5 TFL and 4.0 sacks this year. The former Aliquippa standout set the career school record with 31.5 tackles for loss (TFL) and was named the PSAC West Defensive Player of the Year in 2009. Walker, like Jackson, also has been recognized as an All-American by the AP and D2Football.com.

Jordan and Jones anchored the left side of an offensive line that allowed only 23 sacks on 424 pass attempts this season, while clearing lanes for a rushing offense that averaged 177.2 yards per game. Both Jones and Jordan started all 15 games this season and have combined for 57 over the last two years.

In his first year as a starter, Dontey Brown led the team and ranked fifth in the PSAC with 106 tackles (60 solo) and added 10.0 TFL and 3.0 sacks. He is the first Cal U player since 2005 to post 100 tackles in a season. A transfer from Penn State, Brown led the team in tackles in six games this year.

The PSAC featured a combined 18 players on the All-America Teams, including a league-high six by the Vulcans.

This marks the 22nd year Don Hansen's Football Gazette, a recognized authority on small college football, has selected an NCAA Division II All-America team. The national publication selected All-Region teams with the first- and second-team all-region players from each of the four geographic regions comprising the national ballot, which was voted upon by a select national panel.

A total of 157 players earned Football Gazette All-America honors.
