Conte went a combined 5-for-7 with three extra-base hits in two games last week, as Cal U closed its spring trip in North Carolina. He collected two hits and also reached on a hit by pitch on Tuesday against Ohio Dominican, last year’s runner-up at the NCAA Midwest Regional Tournament. Conte then finished 3-for-4 with a solo homer, two RBI, three runs scored and one hit by pitch versus Dominican (N.Y.) on Thursday.
