Erdely captured the individual title at the PSAC Championships on Sunday after chipping in for birdie on a playoff hole. He became the first men's golfer since the program was reinstated in 2005 to earn medalist honors at the league championships. Erdely shot a one-over 217 (67-76-74) over three rounds while totaling 35 pars and 11 birdies at the event. The Frazier product opened the tournament with a bogey-free round on Friday, firing a five-under 67 to become only the third golfer in the last 15 years to card a sub-70 round at the PSAC Championships. Erdely helped lead the Vulcans to their lowest three-round total at the event since the league adopted a three-round format in 2018, as the team finished fourth in the standings with a 30-over 894.
