Franklin shattered the school record in the 55-meter dash on Friday and helped the Vulcans capture the invitational title at the Baldwin Wallace Mid-February Meet. She posted a time of 7.10 seconds in the finals of the 55 meters to win the event and eclipse the previous school record set in 2011 by 0.27 seconds. Franklin also finished second in the 200-meter dash at BW with a time of 25.51 seconds. With the standard conversion, the Philadelphia native reached the NCAA provisional mark in the 60-meter dash and is tied for the fastest time in the league this winter in the event.
