Bernarding broke his own school record and improved his PSAC-leading time in the 800-meter run on Friday while competing at the Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton. He eclipsed the mark he set earlier this spring by nearly two-tenths of a second after crossing the finish line with a time of 1 minute, 50.47 seconds. Bernarding holds the fastest time in the PSAC this season in the 800 meters by over one full second.
